Welcome to the new and improved Fictionville blog, the blog site of Fictionville.net.

The three year test blog that included a total of 8 comments was a spectacular success, so much so that the comments have been deleted and we're starting over.

There are no "rules" to the blog other than please be kind to all in your posts.

Fictionville.net is a flash fiction site started in 2005, and despite twice having been off-line for extended periods, now boasts up to 70 page hits per day, although usually its more like one or two.

Fictionville has been listed on various better known flash fiction sites and referred to in ways that are probably much too kind.

The Fictionville photo that was so popular has been removed from the site and the blog due to inability to verify the copyright and obtain permission to publish. If you really miss the photo, you can find it at the main branch of the Oakland Public Library.
